Shipping Policy
We ship worldwide from our Ontario, Canada location. Please double-check your shipping address at checkout before placing your order to ensure smooth delivery. For your convenience, we’ve included answers to frequently asked questions regarding shipping below.
How long will it take to ship my order?
- Orders are packed and shipped within 1–5 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).
- Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST may process the next business day. Pre-order items will follow timelines noted in product descriptions.
Shipping Times and Costs?
- Canada: 3–7 business days via Canada Post ($5–$10 CAD).
- United States: 3–7 business days via Canada Post or USPS ($8–$12 USD).
- International: 7–14 business days via Canada Post International or DHL eCommerce ($15–$25 USD, based on destination). Customs delays may occur.
- Free shipping on orders over $100 USD—automatically applied at checkout!
- Shipping rates for orders under $100 USD are calculated by weight at checkout. We don’t add extra fees or profit on shipping.
Do You Ship Worldwide?
- Yes, we ship to over 170 countries! International addresses must be in English to avoid returns by local carriers.
- We currently cannot ship to: Belarus, Ghana, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Myanmar, Nigeria, Palestinian Territories, Russia, or Zimbabwe.
Will my order have Customs and Duties fees?
- International orders may incur customs fees or taxes, which are the customer’s responsibility (Delivered At Place, DAP).
- Check your local customs office for details. If your package is held, look for notifications from your carrier or contact your local post office.
How do I track my order?
- Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email or SMS with a tracking number.
- Check your order status via the confirmation email link or contact us at owner@gumbstudio.ca.
Why Hasn’t My Tracking Updated?
- Tracking numbers are created when labels are generated. Allow 1–3 business days for carrier updates.
- If it’s been over 7 days (Canada/US) or 21 days (international) with no updates, check tracking, contact your carrier (e.g., Canada Post), or reach out to owner@gumbstudio.ca for assistance.
What If My Package Is Stuck in Customs?
- Customs may hold packages for unpaid duties. Check your email/mail for notifications and contact your local post office.
- Customs delays are beyond our control, but most packages clear within a few days.
What If My Package Is Returned?
- If a package is returned (e.g., due to incorrect address, failed delivery attempts, or vacant address), contact owner@gumbstudio.ca. Options include reshipping (customer covers additional costs) or receiving store credit (excluding shipping fees).
What If My Package Is Lost, Stolen, or Damaged?
- We’re not responsible for packages after they’re handed to the carrier, but we’ll help where we can:
- Lost/Stolen: Contact the carrier to file a claim (Canada/US packages include $100 insurance). If unresolved, email owner@gumbstudio.ca.
- Damaged: Report to the carrier first, then contact us for assistance.
What if my order shows “Delivered” but I haven’t received it?
- Wait 3–5 business days, as carriers may mark prematurely.
- Check with neighbors or your local post office.
- Email owner@gumbstudio.ca if unresolved.
Can I Change My Address or Size After Ordering?
- If your order hasn’t shipped, email owner@gumbstudio.ca immediately to request changes (not guaranteed).
- Once shipped, changes aren’t possible. Incorrect addresses may result in returns (customer covers reshipping).
Can You Combine Multiple Orders?
- Each order ships separately; we cannot combine orders.
No Order Confirmation Email?
- Check your spam/junk folder. If missing after 1 hour, email owner@gumbstudio.ca with your name, address, and order details to verify or resend confirmation.
Received a Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Item?
- For carrier-damaged packages, file a claim with the carrier.
- For defective/incorrect items, contact owner@gumbstudio.ca within 7 days for a replacement or refund, backed by our product guarantee.
